Old media vs New media

Old media would be books, newspapers, radio, TV and film where these were the devices that people use to gather information. Now in days books can be read and bought online, newspapers are now blogs, music in the radio is now in our phones, Ipod, Pandora, Podcasts, TV shows are now fully online, and film is use nowadays on YouTube so as we can see technology is changing rapidly as we know it. Soon all I said would be considered old media as well and a new media would be created.

The Next Big Thing

I believe that holograms will become the next big thing. Where we can see TV by holograms instead of having a plasma TV in our living room and also while driving we wont have to drive anymore all we have to do is tell the computer where we want to go and it will just take us. We always see it in Scientific movies and it will be so cool if it really does happen. If such technology is created imagine how easier life would be for all of us, no more driving the car would drive for us, have a small electronic in your pocket and take it with you anywhere you want and see TV anywhere and its right at your finger prints. The possibilities are endless.

P2P File sharing

  1. File sharing is the practice of distributing or providing access to digitally stored information, such as computer programs, multimedia (audio, images and video), documents, or electronic books.
  2. Peer -to-Peer file sharing is where “users can use software that connects in to a peer-to-peer network to search for shared files on the computers of other users (i.e. peers) connected to the network.his is done while the peer is simultaneously uploading the chunks it already has to other peers.”
